Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Start your journey with a morning pick-up and a scenic 5-hour drive to Amboseli National Park, famous for its breathtaking views of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro and large elephant herds. The park offers diverse habitats, including the dry Lake Amboseli bed, wetlands, savannah, and woodlands, perfect for wildlife enthusiasts.
Arrive and enjoy a game drive before checking into Kibo Camp for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, head out for another exciting game drive, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at Oltukai Lodge.
Day 2: Amboseli National Park Full Day Tour
Embark on an early morning game drive, then return to the lodge for breakfast. Spend the day exploring the park with a packed lunch, searching for its iconic wildlife, including predators, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and hippos, all framed by the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy the chance to observe animals in their natural habitat, making for an unforgettable experience. The vast, open landscapes and breathtaking views add to the thrill of the day’s adventure.
Day 3: Amboseli Park to Taita hills (Saltlick)
Set out on an early game drive before breakfast, offering the perfect opportunity to spot a variety of wildlife. After breakfast back at the lodge, check out and begin your journey to Taita Hills Sanctuary. Enjoy a short game drive before arriving at Stilts Lodge for lunch, followed by some relaxation.
At 3:30, head out for an afternoon game drive, where you’ll have a chance to see large elephant herds and other wildlife amidst the unique landscapes of the sanctuary. End the day with dinner and an overnight stay at Saltlick Lodge.
Day 4: Taita hills – Tsavo West National Park
Begin with an early morning game drive before returning to the lodge for breakfast. Afterward, depart Taita Hills for Tsavo West, a two-hour journey to the main gate, with a game drive en route to Kilaguni Serena Lodge or Severin Safari Camp. Along the way, visit Mzima Springs, where you can observe hippos and fish in the crystal-clear waters, and possibly spot crocodiles and monkeys.
After checking in and enjoying lunch, set out for an afternoon game drive to explore more of the park’s diverse wildlife. Conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay at Kilaguni Serena Lodge or Severin Safari Camp.
Day 5: Tsavo west– Tsavo East National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a game drive as you depart Tsavo West, heading to Tsavo East, known for its vast elephant herds and the legendary man-eating lions. Arrive in Tsavo East with a game drive en route to your lodge for check-in and lunch at Voi Safari Lodge.
In the afternoon, set out for another game drive, visiting the Aruba Dam, a popular wildlife gathering spot. End the day with dinner and an overnight stay at Sentrim Tsavo or Ashnil Aruba Lodge.
Day 6: Tsavo East National Park -Mombasa
Start the day with an early morning game drive before returning to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, check out and depart Tsavo East, embarking on a scenic four-hour drive to Mombasa. As you approach the coast, the landscape shifts from savannah to tropical palms, signaling the end of your safari.
Arrive in Diani around lunchtime and enjoy a drop-off at your hotel, where you can relax by the beach or explore the vibrant local culture.
